DAY 01: AIRPORT – COLOMBO

Arrival and welcome by a representative of Venom Holidays and transfer to Hotel.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Negombo.

Day 02: Negombo – Pinnawela – Yapahuwa – Dambulla – Sigiriya

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. En route visit the Elephant Orphanage Pinnawela, Padeniya Temple, Yapahuwa Temple.
Pm – Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple – famous for its wall paintings.

Day 03: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa

After breakfast climb the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya – 5th Century AD which was a Royal Citadel for more than 18years.
Pm- Leave for the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa – the medieval Capital of Sri Lanka – 11th Century AD. Leave for Kandy – the Hill Capital which was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka before falling to the British in 1815. on the off the beaten track route via Elahera and Bakamoona through this calm and quiet environment winding its way past vast areas of paddy fields, irrigation systems, typical peasantry village life etc.
Evening return to hotel
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Sigiriya

Day 04: Sigiriya – Kandy

After breakfast leave for Kandy, enroute visit a spice garden

Pm – Start a City Tour of Kandy Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, Upper Lake Drive etc.

Later in the afternoon visit the most venerated Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha followed by a cultural performance.

Day 05: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast Leave for Nuwara Eliya – “Little England” If trains are available a part of this journey will be done by train En route visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to be educated about the production process of the world famous “Ceylon Tea”
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Nuwara-eliya

Day 06: Nuwara-Eliya – Ella – Yala

After breakfast leave for Yala. Train ride from Nanu-oya to Ella. Picked up from Ella and proceed to Yala on the scenic route.

Day 07: Yala – Galle – Bentota

After breakfast proceed to Bentota. (Beach Resort)
Visit the Galle Dutch fort
Pm Boat ride on the Madu river and visit a Turtle hatchery farm
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Bentota

Day 08: Bentota

Breakfast
Full day Free on the beach or Water Sports (Fun Card)

After breakfast, proceed to Airport for departure.
